This series is the world’s first current transformer series with screwless connection technology – ‘Cage Clamp®’ spring-loaded terminals. An innovative and time-saving connection option for solid and flexible conductors – wire end ferrules are no longer required.
In addition, the entire series is UL-certified; certificate number: 20100426-E336996. The devices are designed for a maximum operating voltage of up to 1.2 kV; use in 690 V networks is therefore possible.
All CTB current transformers are manufactured in accordance with or exceed the requirements of the specified technical requirements of DIN EN 61869-1/2, VDE 0414-9-1/2 and DIN 42600.
As an option, primary conductor rails (electrolytic copper, nickel-plated) can be supplied according to the rail window, including DIN 933 screws, complete with nuts, washers and spring washers for mounting in busbars or similar.
