product image from Data logger LAN Server Modbus-TCP/IP

Description:

This LAN server collects measurement data from the energy meter connected via a serial Modbus and displays electrical values on the web browser interface thanks to an Ethernet (RJ485) interface. In addition, it can issue configuration and operating commands from a supervisor unit and store the measurement data (logs) locally for a long period of time.

Overview

  • The data logger has the following functions at a glance Modbus interface
  • TCP/P interface, the HTTP, SNTP, SMTP and FTP protocols
  • Connect up to 31 devices with Modbus
  • Plug-and-play and easy to use
  • Advanced web browser user interface
  • Large memory capacity (up to 2 gigabytes) for long-distance measurements
  • 4 DIN modules (72 mm)

The user interface

The intuitive web-based interface supports multiple languages and allows you to

  • Select and configure any device connected via Modbus
  • Display electrical readings in real time
  • View the log of collected electrical measurement data stored in the internal mass memory
  • Configure LAN server parameters (i.e. network, log data types, storage frequency, etc.)

Data protocol

  • The data connection between LAN server and PC is based on TCP/IP and HTTP protocol
  • Log files can be downloaded to the user PC thanks to an internal FTP server

Date and time

  • The LAN server has a built-in real-time clock that synchronises the exact local time and date in the NTP network protocol

Data storage

  • Data storage is guaranteed for at least 10 years thanks to an internal 2 Gbytes micro SD card.
  • For example, data from 5 energy meters can be stored and requested for 2 years.
