ECTB current transformer for billing measurements
The time-saving option for billing
Description:
In addition to an extensive range of current transformers for industrial applications in accuracy classes 0.5 and 1, MBS AG also produces a rich portfolio of billing current transformers for current ranges from 25 A to 3,000 A in accuracy classes 0.2s, 0.2, 0.5s and 0.5. Since January 1st,2015, billing transformers have been introduced in Germany in line with the conformity assessment procedure. Transformers (Module B) approved by the Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig are recognisable from their class and construction type number, arranged in the form of a stylised “S”. The usual MBS type designation is also preceded by an “E”. The conformity of the transformers is documented by a yellow conformity mark and a declaration of conformity included with the product. Our quality assurance system is recognised by the PTB as per Module D of the conformity assessment procedure, which means that the billing transformers can be used directly from the factory for billing purposes. These type-approved current transformers hold approval for billing purposes in other European countries. Optionally, the supply of primary conductor bars (electrolytic copper, nickel-plated) corresponding to the bar window, including screws DIN 933, complete with nuts, washers and lock washers for mounting in busbars or similar is possible.
